Need an Outboard Manual

Hi there,

Want to find / download a Workshop manual for my Yamaha 15hp outboard.

Thing is, it looks like the model changed in 1996 or thereabouts so I need the year

The serial no is:_

684 c s00684 (4 or a)

Can anyone decipher this and tell me what year the motor is please.

Also, does anyone have a downloaded manual they could share?

You should be able to look at different years and deduce which year yours is.
I just went through this to find the manual for a Malta 3hp made by Yamaha and found a manual that applied over a few years but which was obviously for my engine.
FWIW the engine model number appears to be number/letter/number so yours looks odd. Try ringing Yamaha to ensure you have the correct code.
