My insurance company are insisting that we have our sailing boat surveyed & valued before we launch - she has just had a refit. Can anyone recommend a good, cheap, local surveyor?

Do not whoever you use get Reg Crawley. In my opinion he is a complete waste of space and had he surveyed my last boat properly I would not have had all the problems I have this season with Flipper.

Used Martin Evans earlier this year - no probs, felt very cnfident in him, and a nice chap to boot (not in the liteal sense of course
