Just started sailing in CI waters planning to do some trips to various French ports and the UK

Looking at 'coastal' suits as opposed to offshore suits or day sailor suits

So, do people recommend Gill or Musto?

I have a fladen one piece jobbie which has flotation material inside. It was cheap (90 quid?) and seems to be used by lots of offshore fishermen which gives me confidence in it.

Cannot offer comparison, but my well over twenty year old Musto salopettes have only just started to lose their waterproofing in the crotch area... Superb quality kit.

My Henry Lloyd Offshore suit is a bit grubby, but it keeps me as warm and dry as the day I bought it. About £500 in 1995!
