Need a 'mini' Tiller Extension?

Hi,

I have a Westerly pageant with a Swan neck tiller.

I'd like to add a tiller extension but due to the Swan neck, and a bracket I've put on the top,further down to pick up the Autohelm, I don't have a lot of room for the extension?

Ideally I need, say, a 400mm telescopic extending to 700mm tiller extension but can't find these anywhere so was wondering if there are any other options.

I'm probably over complicating this as normal!

When I owned my Pageant I made one that matched the curve of the tiller, when not in use it laid flat to & followed the curve of the tiller.

It was a long time ago, but I think I used ash, fitted to a 360degree swivel, but any hardwood would work. I did think about laminating one in dark & light wood if I had the time.
