All going well I am hoping to purchase a Crabber 24 that is in Plymouth but need it sailing to Chichester. I am happy to crew but my limited sailing experience isn't good enough for me to do it alone

Can anyone help?

Thanks Chris

try the plymouth sailing school, very good on prices for deliveries, worth asking for a quote!

I cannot believe Zagato has not had any takers for this. How many times do we hear of people looking for a sail? This will be a nice trip, the weather will need to be judged carefully, and the tides will have to be just right for the major gateways, Start Point and Portland for instance. Its all 'down hill' in the prevailing winds. There should be no need to have to pay for a delivery crew!

I'm as amazed as Galadriel that others haven't jumped at the chance for a sail. Or are we just sitting here dreaming about the sail right now and wondering...

Chris (Zagato)... You don't say how close you are to purchase but if you want to discuss the route over a beer or borrow paper charts for the trip then let me know.. I am based in Southsea.. You might even persuade me to come..

Good point Martin, I'll pitch in with that, I can lend pilot books, I have various charts of the area plus the local tidal flow charts. Chris, what do you reckon?

Whe are you planning to do this? I have sailed both a Shrimper and a C22 Westbound to Chichester from those parts. I haven't seen you put this request on the Crabber forum - that's where I focus most of my attention. A mate alerted me to this one. Maybe continue the dialogue there. I am a C22 owner based in Bosham. All the best
