I came across this recently when we put a new table in the saloon on Tolerance.

It's lightweight, secure, easy to fit/remove and the baseplate that is permanently secured creates a minimal trip hazard when the post is removed.

No connection with the supplier or manufacturer, just sharing.

That looks fine. My 20yr old boat has a removeable table support that attaches to the side rather than sole. I believe they are still available but don't know the name. One or other might be suitable, depending on cockpit layout.

I used a similar leg for a dinette table in a van I once converted into a camper. It would work fine either in the saloon or in the cockpit, but obviously would not be suitable for bracing against, as would be possible with a built-in table.
