Neat ideas

My boat was recently visited by the neat ideas inspector aka Barebones and declared completely free of any neat ideas. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Dont know if this qualifies but I recently bought some small LED lights from Wilkinsons in Barry (£3 for a two pack)

They have a self adhesive back plate and use 3 AAA batteries.You press the centre of the light for off and on.

I have stuck one over the table to give an instant light prior to switching on the battery masterswitch and to have an independant source of light.

If it proves any good I intend to fit a few more. At this price you could stick them in lockers or any dark corner without breaking the bank.

I put one at the top of the companionway so as not to fall down it in the dark when first going on the boat - batteries disconnected.

We've got a few in lockers and hidden away places.
