Talking of bungee on Barebones post, we used old trampoline (really thick stuff) in Ilfracombe to dry out against the wall , it gave just enough pull to keep the boat pulled towards the wall then once dried we attached a fixed line.

That's such a great idea. Last time I dried at Ilfracombe I spent far too long worrying and shortening warps and generally getting in a bit of a tizzy! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Just as a matter of interest, how much of a PITA do you find a fin keeler in Combe? Can you move about freely once dried out?

never had anything but cats and bilge.

Don't know about fin, ours is long keel but ask Barebones.
