Neat Bodging finishing filler for interior woodwork

The joints of the interior woodwork of my 2001 Jeanneau are finished with a thin bead of matt dark grey rubbery compound. Any idea what it is?

I would like to finish some interior modifications similarly.

Actually, one of the reasons i like my French AWB is that I am capable of modifying it to the same standard! Back to my question - anybody know what the magic bodging compound is?
