But actually the worst thing that's happened all season long is that I ran over a pick up buoy in the Yealm and had to get wet to pull it out from between prop and rudder. And we didn't reach Scilly due to unsettled weather but had a great time on the Fal. And Plymouth, Dartmouth and Lyme Regis, was there yesterday, not another visiting boat in sight.

And I spilt a glass of wine. And the bbq was a bit difficult to light, matches kept on blowing out. And I nudged my RIB when going back onto my mooring.

I did that - ran over a bouy and got it caught on the prop, but we had to get a diver out, as the wind on the boat kept the rope too taught to unwind it. In the end we had a dinghy pulling the boat into the wind, so the diver could release it..

I was pretty miffed at the time, so it is nice to see that I am not the only one to have done it this year!

Also banged the bathing platform again, but the other side this time, just a gentle scrape rather than the £300 repair job on the startboardside. What was worse was that we had guests on board who (ahem) crewed a cruise liner, but to their due we didnt get the 'we would have gone reverse blah blah if that was us'

Just think if the match /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif you had used to light /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif the BBQ had /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif ignited the spilt /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif wine or if, whilst diving /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif to clear your props /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif there was a huge /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif oil slick in /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif the water /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif and you had been /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif smoking a fag at the /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif time /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
