NB Windows XP Help Please

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum but does anyone know how to turn off the function that offers you all the old entries into search engines etc in Windows XP? Or is it a function of Explorer? If you are not clear what I mean, its the one that tries to guess what you are typing in and offers you the chance to click and autofill the rest with from a drop down list on the screen.

I think you're talking about AutoComplete - Tools -> Options -> Content -> Auto Complete Button ...

Thanks guys - just what I was looking for. The teenagers have been at the machine and there was loads of rubbish coming up all the time.

if you just want to clear the remembered searches so that you can start again with your own search queries, put your cusor over the first entry in the list so that it is highlighted, then hold down your delete key, all the entries in the list will then be deleted one by one.
