No, Nick actually looks like that.

Thing is Nick, I see what my designers do in the studio with Photoshop, some of it is unbelievable. The No 5 photo looks odd because where is that great bolt of lightning coming from, the storm is behind it.

I agree; No5 looks contrived. All my photos are photoshopped, but almost always in order to restore what I thought I saw at the time. My favourite was the lenticular clouds over the Alps. Perhaps we should start our own competition.

I agree with Brendan - all superb but I did like 8 and 10 especially as well as 5th place. The second prize reminded me of a Turner seascape - fantastic light.

I did like this one from an American boaty website (not anywhere near as good as ybw of course ).

Sometimes I think I know exactly how the inhabitants of that island feel..
