Morning All,

I am hoping to enter the RTIR this year. I am required to fly the class flag NN4.

I have searched numerous chandlery and flag websites but am unable to source one.

Does anyone know where i could purchase a NN4 flag ?

Code flag 4. Any decent chandler, or run one up on a sewing machine.

I have a full set of IC flags.

The Notice of Race brochure states NN4 not IC Number 4.

It is a rectangular flag, White diagonal cross on red background. Not a pennant shape.

May have to get one made !

Try a chandlers in Pompey or Guzz?

Trouble is they're likely to have flags which are about a metre on the fly!

Still, doesn't sound to difficult to run up. Ask a sailmaker for an offcut of red ripstop as background and a bit of self adhesive white sail repair tape. Then just tack the edges.

I'm pretty sure that last year we got given a class flag in the entry pack long with the advertising stickers and other stuff. Might be worth checking.

Naval Numerals are frequently used as class flags, so it might be worth trying a chandlery which deals with racing boats - Aladin's cave on the Hamble, for example.
