Navtex on mobile phone

Back in May Double-Ender did a post on using the Frisnit site for Navtex info

I tried it from home and it worked but this last week, in Channel Isles and France I consistently got responses saying "no messages received in the past 24 hours" which, even allowing for the benign conditions seemed somewhat strange

I was polling the 'E' site which I believe is Nilton.

Was this related in anyway to the CG 'strike' ?

Has anyone else got working experience of this system ?

Given your location, you should certainly be receiving Corsen broadcasts assuming your setup allows this.
Not aware that UK Navtex is affected by the industrial action - I'll check and let you know.
