I've currently got a Navman 7100 and am planning on going to the Med in summer. Does anyone know either

A, if it's programable for your ATIS code or do i need a differnt vhf
or
B, does anyone have any contact details (email, telephone etc) for Navman. All i can find on the net is their GPS site?
I've got some manuals here but they don't give me any of the information i need!
Cheers,
Steph

software to program / reprogram an icom DSC radio

No doubt this is available somewhere on the www but I cant find it. Can anyone give me a pointer? By pm if you want.

i'm pretty sure you wont be able to programme the radio yourself. These radios require both the software AND a special programming kit. This is normally supplied only to dealers.

You wont be able to contact Navman as they no longer exist.

Places like MES and others can programme these radios.

You can download the manuals for Navman VHF Radios from Plastimo: http://www.plastimo.com/uk/services/notices.php

I programmed mine (a 7200) myself, however you cannot change it after it has been entered. In DK we just use a 9 before the MMSI number, but be aware that ATIS and DSC (using the MMSI) are mutually exclusive (in other words, when ATIS is enabled DSC is disabled)

Hope this helps.
