We have lost the paddlewheel assembly for the Navman speed log transducer on our boat. Clearly knocked off by some waterborne debris. The rest of the unit seems OK. Does anyone know of a source for a replacement paddlewheel kit? I must stress that this is for the Navman transducer. Later Navman installations used Airmar transducers and the wheels don't fit.

Plastimo carry spares for Navman transducers, so the paddlewheel could be ordered from most chandlers, or bought online. There are different types of transducer, so you need to ensure you identify yours correctly. The Plastimo Navman Accessories Guide should help you identify the correct part number.

Plastimo no longer sell Navman, although they will meet certain warranty claims. Thanks for the link to the catalogue, but I suspect I will have to search elsewhere. I have spent the last couple of months ( not all the time!) trying to resolve problems with my Navman instruments. I have got a result (this time) but it seems clear that support for this kit is pretty minimal and spares becoming increasingly hard to find. Should've gone to Tacktick!

They put me back to Mark Parkin at Navimo, which is under the Plastimo umbrella and Mark has been lumbered with sorting out the residual problems with Navman like mine. I will seek him out at LBS tomorrow to see what can be done.
