I have a Navman 5600 on my boat with a recently fitted NMEA cable to autopilot. I wish to link Navman gps facility to laptop on which is extensive folio of charts. I have learned that I need a USB/seriel adaptor, but believe that this would connect into NMEA port. Can I split this cable in some way so as to maintain "talk" between Navman/Autopilot and PC?. I'm definitely not a computer "techno", so answers simplified for my aged brain would be appreciated. Thanks Jalkit
