hello. i am new to this forum so hello everyone. i know its a cheek but already asking for help! i have a navman 550 with external aerial and aerial is broken. does anyone know where i can get a replacement please. thanks very much

I'm new as well so I hope it isn't a cheek for me to presume to answer.

I had a tab open on Ebay UK and searched for 'navman 5500'. There are aerial bits there at a reasonable price. Or use epoxy if only the plastic is broken.

Agree with the eBay advise.

Anyone happen to know how to get 5500 to display distance travelled? Can't find it in the manual, but can't believe it's not an option???

I had a problem with a 5500 which was thought to be the aerial. I was quoted loads-a-money for replacement, but traced it to the actual connecting lead broken at the aerial connector. Quick trip to Maplin, plus a bit of soldering and it was working better than ever.
