Navionics on a Lowrance 3500/3600 plotter

I just got a Navionics Gold XL9 28XG (UK, Ireland, Holland) for my elderly Lowrance 3600 plotter. It works fine but I have a question...

It seems the plotter can't load the whole Navionics chart at once. So I must select an area under the Map Data /Navionics Map Choice menu. From my limited experiments it seems there is several miles of overlap between areas but I can't find anywhere a description of where the boundaries of these areas lie. Can anyone help please? There's also an area called "North Sea Bathy S" Where's that?

At least there's an overlap. When we were heading east along the French coast last year, there was a GAP of several miles on the Garmin coverage.

Bathymetric chart of the North sea showing coastal outline etc. Maybe this is too big a file for the 3500???.
