Navionics microchart, Pcmia card reader

Ihave a B&G chart plotter, it uses navionics microcharts, it has one of Scotland only in it, I need Irish Sea etc, have found out that Navionics threw out the card writer, so tough, obsolete. However has anyone tried using a PMCIA card to SD adapter, the existing looks like a PCMCIA card so I presume it will go in to the plotter and then I could use the latest navionics which are on sd cards

They caught me exactly the same way.

Unfortunately the answer is no, they've used and entirely new database for the MMC/SD chip.

You can still, I believe, get local 8mB charts in the PCMCIA format.
