Hi all,

I purchased a new Navionics CF card for my new (to me) Raymarine C120 a couple of weeks ago and plugged it into the unit. It worked as expected without issue.

I bought it home to register the card (to get the free updates), which again went as expected with no errors or issues... However, when plugged back into the C120, it now won't recognise the charts. I've bought it home again and run the update installer again with no issues.

Is there anything I have done wrong?

Thanks in advance.....

I had a similar issued but with the micro SD variety rather than compact flash.

The solution was to copy the .txt file which contained the licencing information onto my desktop, re-format the card and copy the txt file back to the card and then run the update process again.

As there was no obvious warning that the update has failed I keep an older version on board in case of a nasty surprise when the updated chart is first plugged in.

I just had a similar issue, put card into my C70 and it would not read. I found that one of the pins on the plotter card reader had got pushed in a bit. I carefully realigned it with a long nose pliers an all is well again.

as an update....
Navionics online suggested I delete the 'Charts' folder on the card and then update again. This cured the problem.

I may try the suggestion to delete the marina files as it is quite slow refreshing now....

Thanks to all that replied
