Is there a way to return direct to the menu page after reading a multi page thread?

Is there a way to return direct to the menu page after reading a multi page thread?

I just have a bookmark icon on the bookmarks bar - takes me straight to the forum.

What I do is scroll up to the top and click on forum.

What I do is scroll up to the top and click on forum.

The "home" key will take you to the top without scrolling then you can use the "breadcrumb trail".

The "End" key will take you to the bottom where you can use "Quick navigation" .

For what it's worth, I open each thread I'm interested in in a new tab. Close the tab when finished reading it; when I've read all the threads I'll be left with just the index tab.
