I am trying to sort out a battery-drain problem on my Merlin 28.
I have now narrowed it down to one of the two sockets that feed the autohelm (a TP30 and an HR200 remote control).
The TP30 socket looks ok:- no frayed wires, no verdigris etc though I've not yet tested the TP30.
The HR200 socket, on the other hand, has a distorted/broken rubber seal and the four conductors and base of the socket look decidedly green/blue.
Having unscrewed it I have discovered that it is a sealed unit. They are still available and I may have to replace it but before I do, does anyone have a manual and/or wiring diagram for this? It would be nice to know the pin-outs and what SHOUL be connected to what
Is there a recommended product for treating conductors in plugs/sockets that have gone green?
