I have a Navico LS200 external speaker in the cockpit but it is not working. I can't work out how to remove it!

there are 4 machine bolts seemingly fixing it through the transom skin but even with these removed it remains stubbonly attached.

is there a particular method (twist, slide, etc) of removal or has a previous owner used some sort of adhesive?

Thanks in advance,

andy

I'm fairly sure the Navico L/S I fitted several years ago was the LS200, it's the same size as a nav. display unit isn't it? . Mine was held only by a screw at each of the 4 corners. It seems that yours might be held by sealant. Brute force and a thin blade could be the answer. The wire is in the centre of the square IIRC.
