Navico logs

Navico Log DL200 or maybe DS200?? paddle\transponder has packed up, Simrad don't support them now! can I get a new transponder unit for these or are they really obsolete, or would another make fit the hole, after all its only magnets and a reed switch or is it more technical than that

I think most of theres were imported from Th USA so may be they could be found there?

Hi King,
Its a Navico DL200, i have one too.
I bought new paddlewheel from Bennex Holland about year+half back. Tried to phone them but everybody is at the Hiswa Boatshow this week.
You could try to phone them next week (+31 (0)181 60 02 34) or mail them (info@bennexholland.nl).
I ripped my defective one apart and indeed its only magnets and a reed relay. The packaging is such that i did not succeed in repairing it.

The transducer was probably made by Airmar. If so, somewhere on the cable is a label with the part number. You could probably get a new one direct from Airmar.
