the display screen on my DL 200 is cracked, everything works OK but I would like to tidy it up any ideas where I could get a new display or head unit? I don't think they are made under that name now.

PS Does any one know if another head unit would work from the original paddle so I don't need to change the hull fitting?

The DL200 went out of production around twenty years ago, didn't it? I gave away the bits I had left over as I needed to put together an integrated system. Put a wanted ad on the forum - it worked for the guy who had mine!

I don't know whether a new display would work. Just remember that if you spend on a replacement, its then hanging on the signal from a twenty year old paddle wheel. You might try Tinleyelectronics.com - they service a number of older units.

Simrad cotinued the spares holding till 31.12.2005 and from 1 January they didnt have any parts anymore.......B***dy marketing....
The paddelwheel is made of a reed contact and this one has a limited livetime....stupid developer...the displays faid away....
Lousy unit.
