My Oceanpilot(hydraulic drive) cannot be put in AUTO mode(stays in standby). Everything else(course heading, seems ok. All connections were checked, the course computer and the pump are powered. As last resort, I've tryied to reconfigure it. But as the first step of reconfiguration, calibration etc it request a PIN #, and nothing is said in my manual about this PIN. Any idea how to find or bypass this PIN thing?. The pilot was in the boat when I bought it and it is(was?) a very good pilot. Here in Canada, this type of Pilot is unknown, and the Simrad expert know nothing about thing.
Many thanks.

The finaly real question is: where to send this pilot to be fixed? Simrad USA don't have any expertise. Is there expertise available in UK? .
Thanks.

Hi, i have heard this sugession but have not tried. I was told that this action will clear all setup and needs recalibration. For this reason, before i try it i like to get my hands on a maintenance manual of Navico Corus C600AD.

OceanPilot PIN

The "system overview" booklet for the Navico Corus system gives a somewhat cryptic description of resetting the PIN on the C600AD which is the OceanPilot control head.

You hold down the "light" key 3-5 seconds until the menus change.

Press the "cal" button and the screen asks for a PIN and will show "000"

Press "enter" and the PIN will now be reset to 000.
