Nav lights - put \'em all on seemed the order of the night

Motoring back from the fireworks last night we saw some "pretty" interesting combinations,

Two white lights -
Green white green -
Green

everything on seemed to be the best bet for about half a dozen yachts - made it all look luvly..

Oh and rib owners - just a quick mention - if you're not up on the plane, it's unlikely anyone can see your nav lights when you're coming at us bow on. One came down sware deep like a ghostly shape ooooooh

Switch 'em all on and you're bound to be seen- I've got three greens in a triangle and never even have to think about col regs because nobody comes near me.

A yellow flashing seems to do the trick as well!!

Mind you, if they're not up on the plane with their bows in the air, they probably can't see you either...

I have looked up colregs and cannot find any reference to "flashing blue light" of which I saw many off the beach at Lee on Solent - are my regs out of date?
