Autohelm 2000(?) complete with remote compass/control unit and wind vane. Lead screw ball bearings need replacing. Motor works fine. It appeared to work but was noisy on account of fore said ball bearings. Removed form new (S/H) boat last year so not used in anger.
Must be worth £35 plus post for spares alone.
Cheers, Dave

YOU DISGUST ME !!

YOUR OLD REPLY TO MY WANTED ADD ON THIS FORUM.

.
Trou,
I have one. However, the bearings in the push rod are caput. The motor is OK. As for the controller, it is there and not damaged. I f you can make anything of it, you can have it for £25(uk pounds) plus shipping if it is any use.
Cheers, Dave

Your answer to my "wanted "ad

From your PM then and today i take it the control box dose not work,

Just half an hour ago i reterned your PM to say that im still interested and that if you would give my your phone number i would call you.

Now i see that due to my interest at all you want another £10!

That is a disgrace considering its20 years old broken and postage extra and you contacted me with a price i was happy with and told you so

Im shocked and disapointed you may do what you wish with your junk im no longer interested nor will i ever knowingly buy anything form you in the future

Im really disgusted with you

Trouv,
You really show yourself up AND confirm suspicions about the French. Here I am offering an item for spares or repair at less than 10% of the original price and for which spares are probably not available and you are disgusted because I can't guarrantee that it works perfectly. Well I'm not disgusted but I am appalled at your bad manners. Any more of this, and I will bring these posts to the attention of the moderator. Meanwhile, I've no intentions of selling the autohelm to you.
Cheers, Dave

Followed the thread for your Nautech analogue Autohelm 2000, and can understand why it was withdrawn some time ago. Do you still have it, and if so, would you be interested in an offer of £30 + p&p.

According to Raymarine, the motor in mine is u/s, so looking for a working spare.

Regards, Ron.

Just for the record, Trouville was a very rude and silly boy, he missed a bargain - once the gears were sorted, it worked just fine and still does. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
