National 18 \"Nocturne\"
I am the owner of a clinker built National 18 dinghy "Nocture" built by Andersons in 1968.
1. I am trying to trace any previous owners, or any current timber National 18 owners.
2. "Nocturne" like many old clinker dinghies is leaking from the base of the centreboard case. The water doesn't seem to be getting in through the case as such which make me think that it is working its way in at the base at the keel. Would there have been some type of caulking between the brass plate around the slot and the keel ?
3. What the best way to seal the inside of the case. I used resin but I do not think the adhesion is great.
