I had a look at the vee system before going for sea feather.
I hope Nathan, you do not regret winning it, test it well. Are you still on Kudu or the new long keel?

I got rid of the long keel. I lost my job and with two boats in the boatyard costing £100 per month each, I just had to get rid of one. Lost sooo much money on it. Bloody ebay!
I've been told a few stories about the MK1 vanes, but the problems were apparently resolved after the JC, and also, this one ain't plastic, it's carbon fibre.
It'll certainly be getting a good old battering in the Irish sea before it goes anywhere offshore though.
I can't wait to get back in the water. I'm getting very, very fed up of winter, land, and being stuck in Preston.
I gave myself a deadline of early march to get back in the water, but if I can, I'm going to bring that forward to middle/end of Feb. Just got the rudder to finish really, and I need a warmish day to do some epoxying on the hull. Then it's a case of floating off to find some work.
