Washing up on the beaches a few miles up the road from here. Front page on all the local newspapers. Apparently they have done the test of comparison with samples from the Napoli, and it is from there. Are there reports of it coming up on the Devon beaches??

having combed through various articles ... I can't find any reference to Crude Oil .... a Container ship would not have Crude Oil on board unless maybe a few samples for a "client" .... I believe what you are referring to is Fuel Oil ...... which would clump and appear similar to the waxy residue that most people confuse with Crude that is seen often on beaches.
