The outcome is tragic indeed, but the accident as such doesn't look so awful, in the video.
I mean, the impact is definitely bad, but nowadays the cabins of these boats are built to resist accidents like this, as also the final images show...
...probably a case of a deceleration higher than a human body can withstand, considering also the sideways G-forces involved.
Very sad anyway, RIP.
