Nasty black rings on my teak decks..

have been caused by those little blue gas bottles being left directly on the deck, I guess some moisture has penetrated the wood directly were the base was resting on the deck. Help, my girlfriend will have a knipshin fit when she see's them, any good suggestions as to how to remove them? I have tried scrubbing and drying etc, all to no avail! I have not tried any proprietairy cleaner, any suggestions as to what is good and whats a waste?

Doug, Oxalic acid from chemist or Oxalic acid based cleaner should do the trick. Further information on a thred further down, or may be in PBO, cant remember but its not far away. Regards, Eddie

I would dismiss any suggestions that we would drink beer out of Cans. How very common...
