NASA speed and depth meters - can they be data logged ?

The output is 'standard' NMEA. but I would like to be able to attach to a data logger for graphical expression later.

Yes, on a raspberry pi running openplotter, make all the pretty graphs you want

Nasa depth doesn't output nmea, the later speed ones do. If you are handy there is an arduino code and circuit that you can connect to the depth unit to produce nmea.

PC running NavMonPC will allow data logging of the standard messages NMEA

A RS232 to usb to convert the data into usb input to the PC

The speed log has an NMEA out put where as the depth didn’t. I ask NASA about this “that is planned for the future” that was 6 years ago
