Has anyone any knowledge of the internal battery pack on the NASA Navtex Pro unit, and voltage? The number under the battery is 3V6, but doing a google brings up all sorts of variations of that number - if it does indeed refer to the battery type and not just the location of it.

Any ideas of where to get a replacement, or will NASA supply one?

Steve,
it is a 3 cell (what looks like) 1/2AA size pack, with PCB contacts at diagonally opposite ends.

I've done a search of RS and other battery suppliers, but cannot find anything like it on their sites. A google search also throws up nothing similar.

I'll contact NASA tomorrow if I cannot find anything generic. Maybe, just maybe, they will supply one, without going into health and safety.
