My Navtex pro has been dead for a few years now.The aerial is the old whip type and I suspect it has failed.Are these still available?The Nasa website doesn't have a contact form so I can't ask them.

They do sell a replacement for the single channel set, not a whip though. about 28 notes last november

I use the dual channel stubby antenna with my NTPro, seems ok. Go to their website and look for accessories.

When I got this new to me boat nearly two years ago now. It ha a NASA whip but the instrument was missing so bought a new NASA navtex pro plugged the aerial in and it works perfectly fine receiving both channels as far a field as Algeria Norway and Iceland occasionaly its on 24/7
