It does work, just been checking my laptop/weatherfax for a trip as I havn't used it for a year or more.
After a few threads saying people were having problems or thought they neede a better aerial, the wire works well down here in Devon.
Picked up a weatherfax in a few minutes, clear as anything with 10' of thin wire poked in the aerial coax socket. Thats with lots of mains interference as well!
The hard bit was trying to remember how to set the speed and left/right margin of the w fax programme.
