HI, Does anybody know if a Nasa depth transducer will drive an Autohelm St 50 depth display, Why ? its about a third of the price. Also is it possible to have two depth transducers on one boat possibly 20'apart. dont ask why I just want one in the back end and at £14 why not.
Regards Mike

Might be worth checking the accuracy afterwards. I *think* that the echo sounder does some compensation for the delay of the cable and transducer, that might be different between the two models. But could probably be compensated for in keel offset.

Best ask one or the other but I doubt it. Nasa operates at 150 Khz but any reasonably recent Raymarine/Raytheon depth sounder will be operating at the US standard 200 Khz.
