Does anyone have experience of the NASA Compass Sensor and if it's worth fitting?
I would like to get a heading sensor in on our new boat but, as it has fairly old instruments and only some NMEA 0183 data, I don't want to go down the route of something like the B&G ZG100 at the moment because it will be too much effort and cost.
I put a Garmin Steadycast on our last boat, but I could never get it to give a correct heading so it was a waste of time and money, and I'm a little cautious about the NASA one in case I end up repeating that experience.
