Nasa Clipper Duet - Display only

I need a new display.

Any suggestions where to get one from? Quick search (including Nasa) resulted in it all being sold as a single package with the transducers which is not what I want nor need.
NASA are great at fixing stuff and really helpful staff.

Yes Nasa can supply just the display and the price is simply calculated by taking the complete package cost and deducting the costs of the log and depth bits. But their price is a fair bit more than dealers.

I hadn't even considered getting it repaired. In today's world, I assumed it would be a replacement job, so I will explore that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Strangely I went sailing today in fab sunshine and even a bit of wind.

The display seems to have fixed itself to perfection. Previously nothing was readable, just a mass of black, but today it was perfect.

I can only think maybe something to do with temperature (today was 25 degrees) and perhaps when it gets cool again it will revert.

If it's just the display itself (i.e. the LCD bit only), rather than the whole 'head' (with the case, switches, and clever gubbins inside), NASA will sell you one for about £12.50 plus postage for you to install yourself, or send them your head and they'll put a new display in for about £25.
