Nasa Clipper Depth instrument

My Nasa Clipper Duet has broken, the panel does not show anything. The depth probe its fine, but I only use the depth function of the Nasa Duet, the log function is not connected.

I need a replacement to show depth only. Can I fit the Nasa Depth Repeater instead? can I plug in the depth probe cable at the back of the Repeater? I am trying to avoid purchasing the Nasa Depth instrument which includes the probe at double the price of the Nasa Repeater.

You need to speak to (or email) Nasa who are generally very helpful. Repair may turn out to be the cheapest option.

On my first noat I connected an NKE transducer to a Nasa Duet by splicing the cables and it worked fine.

I recently had the same problem. Tried e-mailing NASA but never got a reply. Unfortunately, I don't think you can just use a repeater. I don't think they contain the necessary electronics to process the signal from the transducer - they just display the same numbers that are on the sounder itself. That said, if the processing part of your sounders is still working, I guess you might be able to add the repeater and just use that?

That is very unusual. I normally get a reply the same day from them.
