Im trying to find out who makes the raw water pump for the Nanni T4 200 motor. Mines sprung a leak and rather than paying Nanni prices I am trying to source parts a bit cheaper. Only problem is I cant find who makes them. Tried Jabsco, & Johnson but none seem to list my engine. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks

Update, turns out the pump maker of this model only allows Nanni to stock/sell them!
This aside if you ever need advice about Jabsco pumps Steve at Aquafax is a top guy, very very helpful.

I have the nanni 4.390tdi and had the same problem so i went to BRT bearings and sourced the new seals and bearings for less than £20 . On mine the seal was leaking easy to change you can see the seals in the picture.

Thanks Jamie, much appreciated. Did you find getting the pump off ok? Just noticed that the shaft has a threaded section. Does this bit screw into the gear drive?

The shaft with the threaded end holds on the gear drive which is held on by a nut. Undo the nut which will be tight so put the flat part of the gear drive in a vice. you will need a bearing puller to get the gear drive off the shaft. Once removed you will need to remove the seal as there is circlip that holds the bearings and shafts in place. once the clip is removed you can push the shaft out of the pump housing. Once the shaft is removed you can remove the 2 bearings from the shaft. dont forget to remove the seal that is where the impeller is housed.
part no.
seal BRTSD16x28x7
seal BRTSD24x40x7
2x Bearing 6203-C-2HRS
all can be supplied from http://www.brt-bearings.co.uk/location_southampton.html

I live in portsmouth so if you want a hand with it i can help.

Thats a great help Jamie - thanks a lot :encouragement:
Unfortunately Im in Cornwall now so a bit far to get together but appreciate the offer. My Dad lives in Southampton so he can nip in and get the parts for me as he's coming down here next week.
Thanks again
Mark

Anyone know who you remove the pump from the engine. I've removed the two bolts but can only pull it about 1cm. Do I need to unscrew it?

Good Morning - I used to own a 2007 Beneteau Antares 7, it has a Nanni T4.155 engine which is the same as the other engines mentioned earlier except mine was 155hp. They are all based on the Toyota 3.0 litre diesel engine. Like you I fell over at Nanni prices and sourced a lot of parts from elsewhere, usually from the original equipment manufacturer.
The sea water pump is a Johnson F6B-9. Suitable replacement Impellers include; Johnson 09-812B or Jabsco 13554-0001. There are Volvo, Yamaha and Yanmar equivalents.
You may wish to find the Toyota engine number which is just above the fuel pump so you can use this at your nearest Toyota dealer or Roughtrax in Keynsham for other parts - I do not work for Roughtrax but am a very happy customer of theirs. Cambelts, Oil seals, on-engine Fuel filters, Oil filters, Valve shims and Alternator belts are very easily sourced elsewhere.

Hope this helps

On mine, I had to wiggle it side to side as it is engine driven by and angled toothed gear so they need to be slid sideways and (away from the engine) to separate them.

The base engine, Toyota 1KZ, comes in more flavours. The one for marinization is called M1KZ but many parts are common.

For my two 175 hp version (M1KZ-T = Nanni T4.380), I've collected cross ref info for parts, liquids, filters and then some. Plus brochures, workshop manuals etc., common to all outputs in many cases.

Too big (40 mb zip file) to attach here but if interested let me know and I'll upload it somewhere for you to download for a limitid period of time

Hi
I have a problem with my Nanni T4 200 water pump leaking I have got the new seals and bearings but have been let down by the guy that was going to fit them.
Does anyone know of someone in the Gosport/Portsmouth area who can do this at a reasonable cost.

They are easy to do . Well within most DIY tool kit . Other wise I am sure an marine engineer will do it for you .
If you really get stuck then i can do it but not for another week .

ChromeDome - thanks your offer of a look-up/comparision list of compatible parts. I've just acquired a Beneteau with the Nanni 4.390..... a cam belt change beckons and the Toyota parts seem much better value!

Thanks your help!
