Hi all,
My boat has a Nanni3.90H, the boat came with the modern brochure from Nanni showing Kubota based engines and I assumed that that was what it was, on closer investigation I see that this isn't the case, the owners manual doesn't identify it and I've not come up with anything by googling it, has anyone had one of these, it's a 3 cylinder 22 hp job, runs fine no problems I'm just curious to know what it is for sourcing filters etc. Thanks in advance.

Not personally but the chap along at the yard who fits engines and has seen hundreds is sure it isn't a current Kubota. The model numbers on the modern range don't include the 3.90 H Was the D850 an previous version of the modern Kubotas?

It doesn't appear to be a current model. I don't know whether yours had a Nanni engine number or a Kubota one. If the latter then this might help to identify it.

You could take an oil filter (or even the number) to a Kubota spares place and see what they match it with.

Don't worry,
there are a lot of them in boats and on building sites powering cement mixers, mini rollers and welding equipment.

Very reliable and economic.

I was delivering a 30 foot Holland with one, the only problem we had was a bolt on the rear engine mount came out and oil leaked into the bilge because some idiot had drilled throu' into the sump instead of only part drilling.

Found the bold, cleaned up and re-bolted with a dash of lock-tite.

Avagoodweekend......:)
