I have the above engine in my boat
It is of course a marinised Toyota base and is the IKZ engine as used in Landcruisers and other 3.0ltr Toyota vehicles.
We all know that Marine parts are generally more expensive than their vehicle based original parts

However without naming the dealers, the major UK suppliers of Nanni engine spares are advertising the alternator belts for that engine at a price of
Price: £63.62
The engine has two belts and although the dealers site does not make it clear if this price is for two or for just ONE belt, there is in my opinion no excuse for such a price.
The NANNI 4.390 has NO marinised modification that in any manner effects those belts
The original TOYOTA belts are well less than half the price and good quality pattern belts can be bought for approx. £6 each.
That said the same dealers are asking £42.11 for the fuel filter and £26.66 for the oil filter.
Again there is no change in those parts from the standard Toyota base engine.
Perhaps the ultimate insult is - TWO O-rings for the core of the heat exchanger £38.95

If anyone reading the topic has this Nanni, may I suggest you take the Toyota reference of the alternator belt and price it at your local Toyota garage before spending £63.62.

Yes, you have to be a little careful with the fuel filters as of course there are different microns of filtration, as mine has a first stage Racon water drop filter and then the engine fuel filter - which of course is the final protection for the injection pump and injectors but there is no way it is £42.11 or indeed £65 and these people rely on the user who does not have the knowledge to obtain the parts elsewhere.
Not too far away from me is an engineering suppliers specialising in O rings and I am certain they will not be £38.95 for two O-rins

I have a Landcruiser with this engine and can confirm the belt is not the same as the marine engine, on the car it only has 1 belt that does everything including power steering, air con and heater pump.

I have the same engine and i wanted to change the cambelt so a quick phone call to the local nanni dealer and a rough price in my head of what i thought it would cost say £200.my chin was on the floor when they quoted £500 in the end they done a better deal but toyota main dealer wanted £360. I now have a coolant problem and it is a common problem with the 1kz engine (cracked head). With lots of goggling it seems that AMC head are the best oh and you can get a cambelt kit for £150 gutted . It seem that the coolant water gets to hot around the forth cylinder which then cracks the head.

Then you do not have the 1KZ variant as that has TWO belts and the aircon is separate.
There are variants of the IKZ but they are identified by added digits

The cambelt is one of the easiest I have done, especially if you are using a new tensioner, as that eliminates the only slightly difficult part of the job and that is resetting the tensioner

I've got two of these engines in the 8-valve 4.380 TDI 175 hp config (no electronics).

Swapped timing belts, got Toyota OEM grade aftermarket belts and paid £25 each.

V-belts are a set of 2 running side-by-side, Nanni part no. 970 312 335 but with a little luck the dimensions printed on the belt outside are still readable and will provide for a cross ref.

Edit: V-belts might be COGGED V-BELT 13A x 13mm x 1005mm x 38º - eg. Optibelt part no. 13A1005
