Nanni 33 Diesel Alternator Fault

Hi

Not sure if anyone can help, but my Dad has recently bought a Sheerline (second hand) with a Nanni 33 diesel engine in it. Engine runs lovely, however there appears to be a fault with the alternator where by it's simply not charging the batteries, either engine or domestic.

Does anyone have any knowledge of these engines or perhaps a service manual that I could download?

You first need to check wiring, there's no doubt a splitter of some sort aswell, the engine wiring would probably have been modified by the boat builders to allow for domestic battery's to be charged.
