Name the part of my bilge pump I broke...

Hello,

I have a Whale Gusher 8 mk iii.
I was pumping in excitement the other day and snapped the connection between handle and suction.
It was held on by a couple of split pin rings and each plastic side broke.

I know this is all very vague but I'm hoping somone knows what I mean so I can get a replacement.

I rhink I need a new neoprene suction bit, which the handle would attach too. It measured 5.5cm across.

I needed a new neophrene bit on mine, and the v8mkiii isn't made any more, and you can't get spares normally...

I emailed whale, and one of their guys emailed me back with a list of suppliers that hold their old stock.

I expect if you email them, they'll be equally helpful with your issue too?

The same happened on mine from an over enthusiastic crew member. I wondered into Arthur's Chandlers, Gosport as I was nearby and they had a replacement in stock

Could you do something creative with a machine screw & a couple of penny washers? (all A4 stainless, obviously)
