Name a connection

How does one connect those thin NMEA wires together. It was easy with just two devices talking to each other. But now there is Gps, VHF-dsc, and various transducers and displays. Too many little fragile wires.

Twist and solder? Gel-filled Scotchlok? Connector strip (but choose one with leaf protection for the screws).

But it's getting easier, with NMEA2000 you just plug'n'play.

Yes, so far I've twist n soldered, with heat shrink, and then bind with insulating tape. It's been fine, so far...

Barrier strip with mini ring crimped terminals, makes it easy to add, remove modify etc.
