hello all.
can anyone help me id a boat that i purchased last year?
she is 27' loa inc a small bowsprit, 9' beam and approx 2'8" draft. triple keel, made of plastic with a very strong sheer and a quick drop mast.
she had a plate screwed to the door with an address in Germany but i've had no luck with the letter i sent.
she was advertised by the broker as a seamaster 23, but she obviously isnt.
i was told by a man in the boatyard that a pair of them arrived from somewhere or other and that the second vessel went to the Southampton area.
not much to go on but i'm told there are some knowlegable people who use the forum so i'm crossing my fingers.
i'll post a photo or two tomorrow if i can work out how.
thankyou all

That is a bold sheer line for sure! And she looks very nice with it.

I haven't a foggiest idea as to what she is, but this post will bring your thread back up to the top of the list, and I am sure that somebody will recognise her soon, once they see the photos.

I have seen more than one of these around over the years and my guess was british built but have no idea what or by whom. If I come across another will let you know.

Hi,
she looks very similar to my own Sunspeed 25,except for the steering.
Mine has a plate with the Sunspeed logo on the back. There aren't many of these around, I saw one coming out of Cowes a couple odf summers ago,and one or two advertised for sale on boat shed, but apart form that, information is scarce.Enjoy your sail!
