I can't get any response to emails sent, voicemail messages left, or through to anyone live on the phone, despite trying numerous times and each of their five different 'department' phone lines.

According to the Covid 19 situation banner on their website they are now 'fully open'.

I've previously bought from them without a problem. Does anyone know what's going on there?

I ordered a book from them a few weeks ago that hasn't arrived (despite receiving automated emails saying it had been despatched, and then inviting me to review my purchase).

I popped in a couple of summers ago as it was very, very hot and I had forgotten to pack any shorts. Took a look at their stock and considered £120 for a pair of shorts well over the top. An old pair of jeans were transformed into shorts and some cleaning cloths.

Why not give the marina a call, they will know if the lights are on.

Took me best part of 3 weeks to get a part with a 2-3 day delivery forecast. They didn't reply to any emails or phone messages during that time...
Serves me right - I only didn't use my local chandlery because they said they couldn't get it for 10 days and I was impatient!

Yes they are open. I was in there last Saturday.

Having staff to be dealing with would be an improvement on my current situation, even if they were grumpy!
I know they are busy, I use the riggers next door, same shop though, and they are snowed under. I wonder if COVID is causing them an issue.?
We have got a 300% increase in last week or so in Falmouth. Most pubs are shut during the evening and even my local the Chain Locker turned me away yesterday at 1400! They only had 4 tables occupied and the rest empty. A lot of staff are ill.

Not my experience of dealing with Macsalvors. I bought a number of items there three weeks ago and they were very good and nearly half the price of Mylor Chandlers on the main items (boat hook and outboard rail mount)
Pleased for you Dutch and glad you're a happy customer, a size limited group of individuals I would imagine though.

Just for clarity, MYC has no direct connection with Mylor Chandlery, we just happen to have premises 50m or so away!

Just for clarity, it was Mylor Chandlery I had the beef with and emailed yet again.

My apologies to the good folk at MYC, whatever that is (Mylor Yacht Club?).

I've no idea why I wrote MYC.
